The HCL Squash Podium Program was developed in partnership with the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI) to improve the squash ecosystem in India. The program aims to impact all the stakeholders such as coaches, referees and players through various interventions like coaching camps, referee clinics, HCL SRFI Indian Tour and High Performance Camps.
HCL & SRFI conducted the first High Performance Camp in 2019 for 32 squash players representing India at the 2019 World & Asian Junior Championships. The two-week High Performance Camp was overseen by Chris Ryder, British Squash Coach. The camps were geared towards improving game tactics, strength and conditioning. This also focused on nutritional direction and psychological counselling. Individual player assessment reports were created during the camps by leveraging sports science, to offer customized guidance to each player and help them perform better against their international counterparts.
